Finding a Wii Console in Stock

The Nintendo Wii console is in short supply and this is just intensified by the holiday season right now because the Wii is on a lot of peoples wish lists this year!   The classic supply-demand situation means that online auction sources such as eBay are full of sellers getting top dollar (and then some) for any Wii hardware they have in stock.

It's easy to find Wii's online, if you're willing to pay an arm and a leg.  That doesn't mean you won't get lucky and find a deal.  You can try eBay, but make sure you're careful to check the seller feedback and be wary of a price that seems too good to be true.  If you want to save some shipping charges, and avoid getting ripped off by someone hundreds of miles away, we'be put together this handy form for you to find local eBay sellers that have Wii's in stock:

Sure it's easy to search on-line, but a lot of people overlook finding in-stock Wii sources at traditional retail stores like Target.   If you find out what day the store gets a shipment in, you can probably get lucky if you get there first thing on a weekday morning and score one of the few units they get.  It may take a few tries, but many people report sucess this way.  If possible, stop in at the store during a quiet time and see if a manager or knowledgable employee will let you get on a waiting list, or at least give you an idea of the delivery schedule.

If you weren't foresighted enough to find a Wii in stock at a reasonable price during the summer and sock it away for Christmas, then we hope these tips to help out in your quest.  It probably won't be easy, but with a little luck (and a major credit card lol) you'll probably be able to obtain the Wii console you're looking for.
